A range of experiences

Based in the stunning Cape to Cape and Warren Blackwood regions, our cultural awareness experiences are designed to connect people of all ages with Wadandi Country in meaningful, memorable ways.

We offer a range of flexible sessions, including:

  • 1.5-hour Cultural Awareness Programs
  • Guided bush and coastal walks
  • Ngilgi Cave Dreaming stories and didgeridoo performances
  • Campfire cultural sessions for school camps

All experiences are tailored to suit your group—whether you’re a school, a corporate team, or part of a community or tourism group. We align sessions with curriculum requirements, age groups, and learning goals, creating an experience that’s both educational and deeply engaging.

Depending on your needs, sessions can include:

  • An introduction to Wadandi culture and connection to place
  • The Aboriginal Six Seasons and how they guide living, hunting, and foraging
  • The interconnection between people, plants, animals, and landscape
  • The meaning and significance of “Connection to Country”
  • Traditional fire lighting demonstrations
  • Artefact and tool displays
  • Interactive didgeridoo music
  • Storytelling and Dreaming narratives

Josh ‘Koomal’ Whiteland brings over 20 years of experience working in education and is well-versed in cultural curriculum requirements. All Koomal Dreaming facilitators hold current Working with Children Checks.

We’re also licensed to provide native food catering, from tasting platters and refreshments to BBQ lunches and campfire dinners — adding another layer of connection and sensory learning to the experience.

Who facilitates the sessions?

All programs are led by Josh ‘Koomal’ Whiteland and trained Koomal Dreaming team members, all of whom have Working with Children Checks and extensive cultural knowledge.
